He say, “Do you love me?” – A guy’s POV to Lost Love

It was just another autumn afternoon

But it felt like a day that passed me so soon

Walking among the trees, I felt

I had returned back to the past that had melt.

Chirping of the birds was like a familiar sound

Brought back the memories that could never be found

The sunlight peeping through the leaves shaded

Brought back the face that had faded.

Every corner was bringing back something

A distant memory of the one who left with everything

I could feel a lace of tears

Making me remember all fears.

Years had passed but the wound was not healed

All those thoughts came back as I kneeled

I picked a leaf which was on the land

And held it as if it was her hand

It slipped off between my fingers

And twirled in the air as it lingers

I hummed her last song

But I knew she was long gone.

She was a girl of different kind

And was stuck in my mind

Now I recalled it wasn’t just another autumn afternoon

But the day that left me so soon.
